On November 13, 1996, the Andorran national football team played their first official match, losing to Estonia with a score of 1: 6. However, there are not many professional players in the country. Currently, the national team is played by: the owner of a construction company, an insurance agent, a housing and communal services worker and representatives of other professions that are very far from football.
In the town of Escaldes-Engordany, a museum of Russian nesting dolls has been opened. It contains about 300 exhibits. The cinema hall of the museum shows films about the history and the process of making these wooden dolls.
